3-Chapter Critique from Janice Hardy

Author and blogger Janice Hardy is offering a critique of up to 3 chapters--no time limit, so it can be sent whenever it's ready. For a glimpse of her critiquing style, check out her Real Life Diagnostics series on her blog, The Other Side of the Story (which is a treasure trove of writing advice, and one of my favorites).

From her blog: "I write fantasy and science fiction for teens. My debut novel, The Shifter, came out in October 2009 from Balzer + Bray/HarperCollins, and the sequel, Blue Fire, came out October of 2010. Darkfall, the final book of the trilogy released October 2011.

I taught writing at Writers Digest Online Workshops for several years, and discovered how much I love teaching. Blogging about writing allows me to indulge this. I'm represented by the wonderful Kristin Nelson at Nelson Literary Agency, and have been since October 2008."

This item will close on May 10, 2012, at 11:00 PM EST. Any bids placed after that time stamp will not be honored. Once the auction closes and payment from the highest bidder is confirmed, instructions on how to send your pages to Janice will be emailed to the winner. Since the files will be submitted electronically, this item is open internationally.

Bidding on items will close at 9PM EST (by Blogger's timestamp) two days later. Bid comments left after the close will not be counted.

You must include an email address and amount with EACH BID, like

example@fakeaddress.com
$65

so we can contact you to confirm you have the winning bid; if you do not claim your item within 24 hours, it will go to the next highest bidder.

It's okay to disguise your address from bots by using the format
example (at) fakeaddress (dot) com

You'll have one week to make your payment, but you must reply to our email or tweet to claim your item--PLEASE WAIT TO MAKE YOUR PAYMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR EMAIL CONFIRMING YOU HAD THE WINNING BID. Payment is to be made through the PayPal button in our sidebar.

Now that the business stuff is out of the way, we look forward to some frantic bidding to support the kitties!
